A Community Staple Returns
1 Million Cups is back at the Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center this month, and the EAP team is excited to welcome the Shreveport entrepreneurial community back for another month of founder stories, honest conversations, and genuine connection.
The event is free, open to everyone, and requires no registration. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. with coffee and informal networking. The program begins at 9:00 a.m. and wraps by 10:00 a.m.
What Is 1 Million Cups?
1 Million Cups is a national program developed by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation to educate, engage, and inspire entrepreneurs. The concept is simple: over coffee, a founder presents their business for six minutes and then fields questions and feedback from the audience for 20 minutes.
EAP hosts a local chapter of 1 Million Cups every third Wednesday of the month at the Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood.
This Month's Featured Founder
This month's presenter is a local founder building a community-focused technology platform for independent retailers in Northwest Louisiana. The presentation will cover the business model, early traction, and the challenges of building a two-sided marketplace in a mid-sized market.
Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur, a first-time founder, or just curious about what's being built in Shreveport, 1 Million Cups is the best one-hour investment you can make in your entrepreneurial community this month.
